Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 19, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Naksh collects when you use naksh.net, why we collect it, who else handles it, and what choices you have. It describes how the website works today.
Who we are and what this policy covers
Naksh runs naksh.net, a website that sells symbolic readings such as horoscope reports, compatibility reports, palm readings, and mole readings. Prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD).
This policy covers the website, the checkout, the My Readings dashboard, and the Ask Naksh chat. It does not cover other websites we link to, and it does not replace the policies of the service providers named below, which each have their own rules.
We aim to handle personal information in line with the principles of Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), including your right to ask for access, correction, and deletion. We do not claim any certification or audit.
Information we collect
Details you enter at checkout
The checkout form for each reading asks for the details that reading needs. Depending on the reading, these can include the following.
- Your full name and email address.
- Your date of birth. It is optional for palm and mole readings and required for the others.
- Your time of birth, which is optional, and your place of birth (city and country), which is required for readings other than palm and mole readings.
- Your gender and current city, which are optional on some readings.
- Free text answers, for example your main concern, the life area you want to focus on, relationship context, or a description of where a mole is located.
- For a compatibility report, the name, date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth of the other person. Please enter another person's details only if you are comfortable sharing them with us.
Palm and mole forms include photo fields. In the current version of the checkout, the image files you select are not sent to our servers with your order and are not stored. Only the text you type is saved. We ask you not to submit images of intimate areas of the body. If we start storing photos, we will update this policy first.
Payment details
You pay on a Stripe Checkout page. You type your card details on Stripe's page, so the card number never reaches Naksh's servers and we never see or store it. Stripe tells us when a payment is complete. We keep the Stripe Checkout session ID, the amount, and the service you bought.
When we start a checkout, we also pass your name, email address, the service, and the answers from your order form to Stripe as order data. We do this so that we can create your order after payment. Stripe therefore holds that information in its own records.
Login details
Customers do not have passwords. To see your readings, you enter your email address and we email you a login link. We store your email address with a one time token for that link. The link expires after 15 minutes and works once. After you use it, we set a session cookie, and the dashboard shows the orders linked to that email address.
When you type your email address into the checkout form, the site checks whether an earlier order exists for that address. If one does, the form fills in your name, birth details, gender, and current city from your most recent order, so that you do not have to type them again.
Ask Naksh chat
- The site wide Ask Naksh chat gives each browser 3 free questions. A cookie in your browser tracks how many are left. Each question, together with the recent conversation, is sent to Google Gemini to write the reply. We do not save these chat messages in our database.
- If you add money to your Ask Naksh wallet, we store your email address, your wallet balance, the amount and Stripe session ID of each top up, and a count of paid questions.
- Follow up questions about a delivered reading are saved with that order, together with the replies, and you can see them in your dashboard.
Information collected automatically
Our servers use your IP address to limit repeated requests, for example repeated login link requests. This information is kept in the server's memory and is not stored in our order records. The Meta Pixel and cookies are described in the cookies section below.
Messages you send us
If you email admin@naksh.net, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and we use it to reply.
How we use your information
- To create your reading and show it in your dashboard, where you can download it as a PDF.
- To send you emails about your order, such as an order confirmation, a notice that your reading is ready, and login links.
- To let our team review orders, answer questions, and handle deletion requests. We email our team a notice for every new order and for every deletion request.
- To answer follow up questions through the chat.
- To limit abuse and repeated requests.
- To measure visits and purchases through the Meta Pixel.
AI processing and human review
We use Google Gemini, an artificial intelligence service, to write reading drafts and to answer chat questions. To write a draft, we send Google your name and the answers you typed on the order form. To answer an order chat question, we send Google your name, the first part of your reading, up to the last 10 messages of that chat, and your new question.
Quick Reading and Full Horoscope are written by Gemini and delivered to you automatically within minutes. A person does not review them before you receive them. If the draft cannot be generated, the order is held for our team instead of being delivered automatically.
Every other reading starts as a Gemini draft and is then held for review by a person on our team before it is delivered. Our team can see your order details and the draft in an admin tool while doing this.
Google handles the information we send it under its own terms and privacy policy. AI generated text can contain mistakes, and readings are symbolic and reflective, not predictions or professional advice.
Service providers who handle your information
We use the providers below to run the website. Each one receives only what it needs for its part of the service.
- Stripe processes card payments through Stripe Checkout. It receives your card details, your email address, and the order data described above.
- Convex is our database. It stores orders, readings, order chat messages, wallet balances, and login tokens.
- Resend sends our emails. It receives your email address and the text of each email. Our standard emails send you to your dashboard to read your report.
- Google provides the Gemini service that writes reading drafts and chat replies.
- Meta provides the Meta Pixel, described in the cookies section.
These providers may process information in other countries, including the United States. Naksh readings are offered in the following places: Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Singapore, UAE.
How long we keep information
We keep your orders, readings, and order chat messages until they are deleted. We have not set an automatic deletion date. Login tokens expire after 15 minutes, session cookies last 8 hours, and the purchase confirmation cookie lasts up to 30 minutes. Stripe, Google, Resend, and Meta keep information under their own policies.
Your rights and deletion requests
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to withdraw a consent you gave us.
- To request deletion of an order, sign in to your dashboard and choose Request data deletion on that order. This marks the order as deletion requested and emails our team, and the order shows as pending. Our team then uses a deletion action that clears the answers and any uploads stored on that order and marks the order as purged. That action does not remove your name, email address, reading, or chat messages.
- For access, correction, or deletion of anything else, including your name, email address, reading, chat messages, and wallet record, email admin@naksh.net. Please use the email address you ordered with.
- Stripe keeps its own payment records, and Google, Resend, and Meta keep information under their own policies. We cannot delete those records ourselves, but you can contact those companies directly.
If you are in Canada and you are not satisfied with how we handle a request, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
How we protect information
Session cookies are signed and are set so that scripts on the page cannot read them. On the live site they are only sent over secure connections. Login links expire after 15 minutes and work once. Requests to our checkout, login, and chat endpoints are rate limited. Our database functions require a secret that the browser does not have, and the admin tools require an admin sign in. No online service can be completely secure, so we cannot promise that your information will never be accessed without permission.
Children
Naksh readings are intended for adults, and the site is not directed at children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email admin@naksh.net and we will look into it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website or our providers change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated policy applies.
